The new Kia Rio5 is the hatchback version of the sporty Kia Rio line. This car offers those who would rather have a wagon/hatchback style the option to get a lower priced version among the top of the line SX models. The Kia Rio5 has a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder engine, and 5-speed manual standard transmission that performs quiet and smooth gear changes.
This is a very practical hatchback with adequate acceleration. It also has exceptional gas mileage, with an EPA estimate of 32 mpg for highway driving and 27 mpg for city driving. Kia Rio5’s with automatic transmission can expect 35 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. Other features include keyless entry, 15-inch wheels, and an additional set of speakers for the audio system.

There are certain types of car that has a high rate so if you want a lower premium, better purchase a car with a lower rating category. Make sure to have safety features and more of them in your car, and with that try also to have a good driving record and only lesser claims. Also have a good credit history, pay in time so that the security agency is at ease towards you. Discounts are common so ask your agent about it, if the insurance company cannot give you discounts, shop around. But if you have a good record with the payment terms, clean driving record and you have security features in your car, you are certainly a good candidate for auto insurance discounts.

The company that is considered to be one of the US Auto Industry’s big three has indeed collapsed and has come to an agreement with the French Automaker Fiat to a partnership which they hope will allow them to continue operations. Though they are currently on a suspended mode, the company hopes to be back on the market before the end of the year allowing customers. The government is watching the two companies closely to fast get them out on a deal and for them to start withdrawing control of the firm which they have guardianship control over. GM promises to pay back the government the billions of dollars they have received form the government as they get back on their feet to serve the driving public.

The future of the car industry will rely on a black box.
Yes, like the black box (actually it’s orange, weird they’d call it black) in airplanes that record flight movements and everything else that happens in the pilot’s cockpit, will also be installed in cars. The Association of British Insurers (ABI) say that this technology has already been installed in Staffordshire.
According to the Spokesman of ABI, Malcolm Tarling:
“Insurers will certainly use advances in technology and the goal that they are always trying to achieve is to ensure that the price that they charge for insurance reflects the actual risk.”

Little white lies were supposed to be harmless until you were found out. However, what if there were 11 million white lies done each day? That’s the number of car drivers who will not tell the truth (read: lie) to avoid having their claims rejected.
The survey done by moneysupermarket.com further details it. According to the survey, the car owners found it more important not jeopardizing their car insurance rather than being honest with their circumstances.
When asked what they would do in the event that they left their car unsecured and it was broken into, a third of motorists would said that they would keep the truth from their insurer for fear that they would not be able to claim on the insurance; another third said they would tell the truth, and the final third were undecided about what course of action they would take.
If ever they were found out, this would push the price of for other motorists. And their claim would be denied as well.
